NorthState Hauling is a shipping company based in Northern California that moves lumber across the Golden State. For this project we needed something that evoked strength. I created an illustration of the client's favorite truck from their fleet, the iconic Peterbilt.
When it comes time to design a logo, I break out the pencil and paper. I gathered various photos and tried sketching the truck from different angles. I wanted to capture the intimidating power of this magnificent machine so I framed the truck as if we are looking up at it from within its path. With just black and white, positive and negative space, I tried to capture a sense of sparkling chrome.
